For many years, we have provided entertainment at The Breakers Hotel, The Ritz Carlton’s, The Four Seasons’, The Mandarin Oriental, Mar-a-lago, and The St. Regis, just to name a few. All of our entertainers are consummate professionals with extensive experience performing at corporate events, weddings, social events and galas. We personally consult with each client to discuss their individual needs and then propose to them only the best entertainment we deem appropriate to the occasion. Alan James, President
Alan has had an extensive career in the music business as a performer and a producer. He spent over twelve years traveling the world as musical director and personal manager for the international artist, Roy Orbison. His television credits with Roy and others include appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Midnight Special, Austin City Limits, Saturday Night Live, The Tom Snyder Show, and many Dick Clarke Specials. Alan has produced concerts, festivals, corporate meetings and social galas around the world and has the ability and knowledge to work with clients, production crew as well as artists. Alan has a great reputation amongst our clientele which include, most notably, Donald Trump, Bob Costas and Dan Marino, to name a few.
Tiffany Guttenplan, Director of Entertainment and Business Affairs
Tiffany has been the Director of Business Affairs and Director of Entertainment for The Powerhouse Group since 2004. She attended law school in New York City where her main focus was Entertainment Law. Prior to joining The Powerhouse Group, she interned for talent agencies while in law school and upon graduation, worked as an attorney at a boutique entertainment law firm. She brought with her an extensive knowledge of contractual issues that arise in various artist and production agreements as well as a great understanding for the industry as a whole. Tiffany is a licensed attorney in New York and Florida.
Michelle Doyle, Entertainment Representative
Michelle began her career as a music theatre performer and had the great fortune to travel and see the world while pursuing her craft. A few years ago, her working travels landed her in South Florida where she and her partners formed a world class events’ band called VoxBlu. With lots of guidance from Alan James and The Powerhouse Group team, Michelle has become a competent band leader and entertainment representative. Her knowledge as a musician, artist, and band leader has proven to be an asset when working with clients. She handles each event with personal care, insuring that each and every client’s expectations are not only met but are exceeded.
